Wintery Yarra

THE PHOTO:
After walking around for most of a gray afternoon, the sky cleared up enough for me to give it a second chance of venturing out in what I thought would be a vain hope of a nice sunset shot.

I think summer-time is more conducive to these types of shots as it was bitterly cold waiting for the sun to set – this was the fruit of my labor.

POST-PROCESSING:
HDR shot made up of 5 exposures 1 stop apart. Generated in Photomatix, Tone-mapped and imported as TIFF into PS3, Levels, Curves, USM, Dodge and Burn, Shadow/Highlight.

    EXIF:

  • Aperture: ƒ/11
  • Camera: NIKON D2X
  • Focal length: 19mm
