Street Sheen

THE PHOTO:
It’s not often I post a snap-shot type photo – but this one I couldn’t resist. The first (seemingly significant) rain this year, about 2mm in total, overnight – leaving a weirdly refreshing crisp and cold and wet sheen on the city as I walked to my tram-stop at the top of Collins Street. I only had time to whisk out the camera before my tram – more a memory of the occasion than the scene.

POST-PROCESSING:
Lens Correction, USM, Crop, Vignette, Duplicate Layer blended (Soft Light).
