Shrine at Noon

THE PHOTO:
As I mentioned in yesterdays shot, returning on a day with better weather was worth it for the dramatic blue skies. I sat on the site of the old mirror pool (no longer there) for about 10 minutes to get a shot with no other person in the frame (and there were a lot of people).

One of the great things about this shot is the timing with the sun. At the time I took this photo, the sun was EXACTLY in-line behind me and the Shrine – must have meant to be.
