PO Box

THE PHOTO:
The post office boxes at the Taupo Post Office. I had just finished taking the sunset shots from yesterday and popped in to check the business mail. As it was deserted, I made the most of having the camera with me.

THE LENS:
Tokina AF 12-24mm f/4.0 AT-X Pro DX

POST-PROCESSING:
The original colors were too saturated for my liking, so to give a more isolated and semi-industrial feel I slightly stripped the color. Full processing was: Lens Distotion Correction (Pincushion), Crop, Partial Desaturation, Sharpen, Dup Layer with Gaussian Blur set to Overlay at 50%, 55mm Vignette, Noise Reduction.

    EXIF:

  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Camera: NIKON D2X
  • Taken: 24 February, 2006
  • Focal length: 12mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/4s
