Impressed in Blue

THE PHOTO:
Looking up to a decorative ceiling pattern in the Cinquantenaire Museum, Brussels. The striking blue/gold against the white of the ceiling was quite dramatic.

POST-PROCESSING:
The camera struggled to capture the contrast with natural light, so a fair bit of processing was required to recreate the effect I saw with my own eyes. This required a lot of sharpening, selective black and white (to whiten the ceiling), lens correction for perspective, crop, curves.
