Left View

THE PHOTO:
Adjacent Arum Lily to yesterday’s shot, this one more developed with a droplet at it’s curving, left end. This shot is obviously focussed on the droplet, but the rest of the shot is slightly out-of-focus due to the narrow depth of field at f/1.8 from the macro lens. I thought it an interesting selection to publish for the fact that there’s an entire view in focus captured in just that tiny drop.

POST-PROCESSING:
Cropped and rotated (using the magic-circle) and other minor processing (vignette, vibrance and clarity) in Lightroom, before a minor dodging in Photoshop, along with a Tiffen Dfx filter applied (Defog).
