Jungle Overflow

THE PHOTO:
Near the Mele Cascades in Vanuatu I spotted this new area of waterfall, where the water was running over the existing foliage, yet to wear it down.

POST-PROCESSING:
Crop, Sharpen, Blur, Black Mist (55mm filter), Vignette (55mm filter), Gaussian Blur overlay at two different blends, Noise reduction (for file size only – still over 200kb), Shadow/Highlight adjustment, Curves etc – quite a lot for an image that essentially looks the same as the one from the camera…

OTHER:
Running low on Vanuatu and new shots, as well as time to process them, so there may be days ahead with no updates.

    EXIF:

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: NIKON D70
  • Taken: 25 December, 2006
  • Exposure bias: -3/6EV
  • Focal length: 150mm
  • Shutter speed: 1/1000s
