Here one day…
BLATANT SELF PROMOTION:
I sorta sneezed and missed it last year, but the 2007 Photobloggies are on and theres only a few days left to nominate/vote. Dave won the NZ/OZ category last year so we need to keep it in NZ. So if you have a spare second, pop along and nominate your favorite (nudge, nudge) photoblog.
THE PHOTO:
A dandelion clock that somehow managed to sprout up in my newly mowed lawn, sticking up very prominently and grabbing my attention.
POST-PROCESSING:
Trialling my new method of using Adobe Lightroom and sending to Photoshop in 16-bit TIFF seems to be giving good and fast results (thanks for the heads-up Dave). This shot had a considerable natural vignette and edge blur. I did add a small vignette which was further enhanced after a levels adjustment. Velvia Vision was used to bring out some dynamic range.
