Hard to Hide

THE PHOTO:
A ladybird in a flowering tree. Actually there were hundreds on this particular tree so it must be a specific variety. The problem with photographing ladybirds is that, unless you get them early in the morning, they scurry around so constantly that its hard to get a clear shot – this was the closest I got from about 20 efforts.

Taken in Knyeton, Victoria.

POST-PROCESSING:
RAW Pre-processing, USM, levels/curves, shadow/highlight, duplicate layer (blended) with gaussian blur, crop.
