Go Black Beauty

Yay! No more Vanuatu photos! (…for now…)

THE PHOTO:
The New Zealand A1GP car at the brand new Taupo Motor Sport Track during qualifying yesterday. I have a three-day Grandstand pass right in front of the best part of the track (read: where they all spin out/crash/etc). With the 500 photos I took on practice day, the 450 I took yesterday and the ones I will be taking today during race proper you should brace yourself for a glut of racing photos.

This car has the nick-name ‘Black Beauty’. Driven (at the time of posting) by Jonny Reid who caused a surge in local interest when he won the previous round held at Sentul in Indonesia, thus coming to his “home” event as the favorite.

POST-PROCESSING:
Crop and Sharpen. (one of the lucky 2% that were in focus)
