THE PHOTO:
1st in the series from the stunning Hamilton Gardens in…Hamilton.

This little fluffy duckling and it’s siblings greeted visitors to the gardens on the lawn next to the man-made lake. How could you not take picture of a cute little duckling!?

POST-PROCESSING:
This image was almost a write-off due to the sun’s position behind the head of the duckling, however thanks to the magic of Photoshop, not all was lost. With a bit of dodging, shadow/highlight adjustment, curves and levels you can bring out the ‘hidden’ detail in many shots.
