Emergent

THE PHOTO:
A flower emerging from it’s leafy enclosure. Taken at a client’s garden for a photo-shoot.

THE LENS:
Sigma 150mm f/2.8 EX APO Macro EX DG HSM

POST-PROCESSING:
(yes, I have stopped incorrectly concatinating ‘post’ and ‘processing’ needlessly). Crop, Sharpen, Velvia Vision, Flip Horizontal, Neat Image, Shadow/Highlight adjustment.

OTHER:
I’ve tidied up the comments section somewhat, and added a voting system for each image (in case the image sucks and people don’t want to tell me directly). Also, it appears that I have gone through the best of the Hong Kong shots, at least until I run out of other ones…

    EXIF:

  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Camera: NIKON D2X
  • Taken: 27 January, 2006
  • Exposure bias: -1EV
  • Focal length: 150mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/500s
