Easter Snow
THE PHOTO:
The reward for getting up before dawn this morning was seeing the first rays of light hit the first snow of the year on the mountains. This is the view from my place – albeit through the lens of the “bigma”.
THE LENS:
The Bigma – Sigma APO 50-500mm F4-6.3 EX DG/HSM
POST-PROCESSING:
Crop, Unsharp Mask, Auto Levels, Color-Balance, Shadow/Highlight Adjustment, Noise Reduction (yes, it needed it). [Re-processed March ’07] – Color Grad, Curves.
OTHER:
A good past 24-hours for me, I didn’t succumb to procrastination and sleep-in, resulting in some nice shots. Mo the three-legged cat decided after another month away that it was getting too cold to stay away, Google released their Calender service making my life easier, Apple released the 1.1 version update for Aperture which means I can use it now (yay!) and the weather is STUNNING! I hope your long-weekend is off to a good start as well.
