Dusty Water

THE PHOTO:
Taken during a commission shoot on a Trust property, this outtake is indicative of the very dry and dusty weather we have had for the last rain-free week.

POST-PROCESSING:
I spent about an hour tweaking this one trying to enhance the feel of dryness and dirt without going monochromatic or bright. Mostly color channels and color curves were used on this shot. Which again had to be re-corrected after exporting with the Adobe Lightroom’s default ProPhoto color-space made saving for Jpeg a complete mess.

    EXIF:

  • Camera: NIKON D2X
  • Taken: 22 February, 2007
