Dark Amaryllis
THE PHOTO:
An Amaryllis Belladonna that suddenly spring up (as they are known to do) at the beginning of March. I tried to get a shot that showed it in a ‘different light’ – more of a textural image rather than one that used color to portray it’s aesthetic.
POST-PROCESSING:
Pre-processed in Lightroom, crop, rotate, vignette, sharpen and original B&W treatment. Post in Photoshop, mostly around curves, shadow/highlight, additional sharpening.
