Complex Spaces

THE PHOTO:
Archive raiding since I don’t have any new material – this one taken at the National Gallery of Victoria – Australia (also known as the Ian Potter Center to not confuse it with the NGV International building) last June. A not too dissimilar shot from one of my favorites – ‘Fractured Space.

POST-PROCESSING:
I was going black and white, but at the last moment added a slight sepia tint, just to bring a bit of the original warmth back in.

Lens correction, crop, shadow/highlight, levels, b&w, duplicated layer blended (soft mode) with extreme curves adjustment, levels adjustment layer, USM, tint.

    EXIF:

  • Aperture: ƒ/11
  • Camera: NIKON D2X
  • Taken: 27 July, 2008
  • Focal length: 12mm
  • ISO: 500
  • Shutter speed: 1/15s
