THE PHOTO:
The sunset from Brighton Beach, Melbourne – a fitting shot as the sun sets on 2008 – a eventful year for me:
– Quit my job back home in NZ
– Moved to Melbourne
– Landed a great new job
– Spent 3 wonderful weeks in Italy and Luxembourg
– Sadly lost my Mother to a sudden heart attack

Other than the tragedy at the end of that list, I have no regrets and look forward to what 2009 holds for me (especially with my ‘101 things in 1001 days’ list to commence in February.

This is actually an HDR composite of three bracketed images one stop apart, generated and tone-mapped inside Photomatix, with levels, curves and vignette done in PS CS3.
