Blue in Bokeh

THE PHOTO:
I LOVE the bokeh in this shot. Uniquely created by the cheap and fast 50mm 1.8 lens, the light-creep off the edges of the aperture blades adds an extra dimension to this image.

THE LENS:
Nikon 50mm f/1.8D AF Nikkor

POST-PROCESSING:
Sharpen, Velvia Vision, Levels, Dust and Scratch removal (my cheap and nasty method of noise-reduction after sharpening – I don’t have Neat Image on the Mac :( )

    EXIF:

  • Aperture: ƒ/1.8
  • Camera: NIKON D70
  • Taken: 13 May, 2006
  • Focal length: 50mm
  • ISO: 800
  • Shutter speed: 1/6000s
