Bamboo Memories
THE PHOTO:
Edge of a large stand of bamboo on the trail to the Mele Cascades in Vanuatu, where tourists throughout the years have etched their names, and love of significant others into the wood. Thousands of such scrawlings can be seen on the 100 or so bamboo trees bunched together in a little island in the trail.
