Autumn Bridges #1

THE PHOTO:
1st of four shots taken at the Alfred Nicholas Gardens lake recently. This was actually the last of the four photos taken.

Probably one of the more scenic spots in/around Melbourne during Autumn with the various Genki trees, Japanese maples, still lake and the little island connected by several bridges. There were a number of other serious photographers out on the same day showing how popular it was.

POST-PROCESSING:
This was a 7-shot bracketed exposure blended in using the new HDR function of Lightroom CC 2015. The resulting HDR shot was then duplicated and overlaid using a blend with gaussian blur. A number of other adjustments including levels, sharpening and a warming filter were applied. Definitely the most processed shot of the 4.

  • Taken: 30 April, 2015
