That is plain fantastic, Mike. Love the spiral with the cloud and the light from water inside. Cleverly built composition.

@Nick – thanks for reminding me. The recent reformatting of the site isn’t quite complete – and the hide/show part of the comment area was originally designed without graceful degradation or progressive enhancement for that matter in mind. I have deleted that hide/show functionality until I can get time to finish tidying up the site.

I have forgotten what I was going to say about the photo – what distracted me was that the comments section does not work in Camino on the Mac or in Firefox (though I am using an older v1.5 Firefox). The only way I could get the comments working was to use the Firefox Web Developer plugin to disable the CSS. Just checked Safari and it works there OK.

Oh, yeah…. the backlighting works really well in the image, gives real definition to the water in the air.

Of all the “whipping hair, spraying water” -shots I’ve seen this is the first one that has gotten a wow reaction from me. Your best attempt is a good one (which was to be expected ;).

I guess I’ll have to post a different kind of whipping hair shot tonight in response to this…
