THE PHOTO:
A ladybird in a flowering tree. Actually there were hundreds on this particular tree so it must be a specific variety. The problem with photographing ladybirds is that, unless you get them early in the morning, they scurry around so constantly that its hard to get a clear shot - this was the closest I got from about 20 efforts.

This post marks the first time I will be increasing the file-size of my images here. Normally I try to keep to 100kb-150kb for those on dial-up, but at the sake of image quality. If you're still on dial-up then I feel for you, but i'd rather have a better looking image. I will try to aim for the 250kb mark.
